James Nevin was a part of the Trust movement who donated blood to sustain local vampires. When he was diagnosed with cancer and bleak chances of survival he decided to conduct an experiment - if vampirism could overpower tumours. The local vampire household, the Wickham vampires, were doubtful at first but James arranged everything very carefully, finging not only a substitute for himself but a willing volunteer who could donate blood to cover for his vampirism as well.
